Our Process
So how does this mentoring/coaching/consulting arrangement work with Champion Business Advisors? Each business comes with its own set of challenges. Arrangements are client-specific, and customization is imperative. All that being true… here is a "typical" mentor/coaching/consulting arrangement:
YOUR CONTROL
All advice given will be to assist you and your personnel in making decisions, but no decisions will be made for you. The role of a Champion Business Advisors coach/mentor/consultant is to provide guidance, direction, and program materials. The role is advisory, and much of the work will be provided by the owner or to those they so choose to delegate. Champion Business Advisors seeks to motivate, educate and hold you accountable in order to assist you in running a successful business.
DEFINITION OF SERVICE
Coaching sessions: As your advisor, we will meet weekly at a mutually agreed upon time by phone or in-person for a period of approximately an hour. There is availability for questions and sharing for news, insights, challenges, and accomplishments. A typical response to emails and phone calls is 48 hours.
Extra time: If you need it, call. We are here for your success, and that includes important moments when you need a quick problem-solving or strategy session. We can typically reply to an urgent call within a few hours.
COACHING PROTOCOL
Typically there is a full agenda for each session. Please come prepared with as few distractions as possible. This time is for you, so if a need is not being met… express it. Ongoing feedback is an essential and valuable part of the coaching relationship.
LENGTH OF AGREEMENT
The typical term of this agreement is 12 months and will automatically renew unless written notice of the desired change is made 30 days in advance.
CALL SCHEDULE
Coaching sessions are typically set at reoccurring days and times of the month. Due to vacations, continuing education opportunities, or emergencies, these dates may need to be rescheduled. We ask for at least a 48-hour notice of a change in schedule.
INVESTMENT
The fee for your coaching/mentoring/consulting varies upon each need. Some situations involve several individuals within the same company. Typical compensation is what would be invested in a part-time employee. This can be addressed in more detail during the initial scheduled phone appointment. The initial payment is made by company check and all future payments by Electronic Funds Transfer. An invoice will be provided if requested.
CANCELLATION
This arrangement may be canceled, without penalty, at any time during the period of the coaching relationship simply by providing a thirty (30) day termination notice in writing.
